Laser, Water Jet & Fabrication

Laser

Complex cuts. Consistent results.

UPI Manufacturing combines advanced Mitsubishi laser cutting technology with SmartFlex RAPID automation to deliver precise, repeatable parts with exceptional efficiency. Automated material handling keeps production moving while reducing downtime between sheets, allowing UPI to maintain consistency across both individual components and larger production runs.

From intricate geometries to high-volume production, our laser cutting capabilities help turn customer designs into accurate, production-ready parts—quickly, efficiently, and with the precision the next stage of manufacturing demands.

Water Jet Cutting

Versatility without compromise.

UPI's waterjet cutting capabilities provide another level of flexibility for materials and applications that require a different approach. Using a high-pressure cutting process rather than heat, waterjet technology allows us to produce precise cuts without creating a heat-affected zone or altering the properties of the material surrounding the cut.

That versatility makes waterjet cutting particularly valuable for thick materials, specialty materials, and components with demanding specifications. With both laser and waterjet capabilities in-house, UPI can select the cutting process best suited to the material, design, and requirements of each project.

Fabrication

Strength and quality forged by experience.

Cutting the part is only the beginning. UPI's fabrication team transforms precision-cut material into components and assemblies ready for the next stage of production.

With experienced craftsmen, heavy-duty forming capabilities, and engineering and production teams working together under one roof, UPI can manage complex fabrication requirements while maintaining control over quality at every step. From forming and bending to fitting and preparation for welding and assembly, each operation is performed with the finished product in mind.

Keeping these capabilities in-house means fewer handoffs, greater consistency, and better control from raw material to finished component.
